Something just occurred to me. In most homosexual marriages, both partners take on the other’s last name. Ex. Kurt and Blaine Hummel-Anderson, Brittany and Santana Lopez-Pierce..
But in most heterosexual marriages, the woman takes on the man’s last name, losing her own almost entirely. It seems like gay marriage has more equal partnership than straight ones.
